OUR PROJECTS

SINCE 2022

T-INKI

This project aims to strengthen the resilience and growth of the Peruvian food system by connecting key actors across the value chain through a platform that fosters innovation, collaboration, and sustainability.

SINCE 2020

COCINA PODEROSA

This project emerged during the pandemic as a response to the economic crisis affecting the Peruvian population. It has 4 specific objectives: (1) support the economic recovery of small restaurants, small farmers/producers, and community kitchens; (2) provide nutritious food rations to vulnerable communities; (3) offer a training program that promotes the development and strengthening of competencies relevant to the community; and (4) strengthen community resilience through building alliances with participating organizations.

SINCE 2020

El Sabor del Futuro

The crisis caused by COVID-19 exposed—and in some cases exacerbated—the precarious and concerning aspects of the Peruvian food system that had already deserved our attention long before. One issue that became particularly evident is that, from disruptions in supply chains (both national and transnational) to increasing food scarcity in certain areas, the urgent factors to correct and resolve in the national and global food systems continue to disproportionately affect the most vulnerable populations in the country and around the world.

This is how El Sabor del Futuro was born, under the premise that it is urgent to rethink, design, and implement changes in the Peruvian food system. For this reason, we must concentrate our efforts if we intend to change this system, and it is essential to do so through collective action. In this spirit, we seek to promote coordination and collaboration among actors, building different forums and spaces for dialogue.
